MEDIATOR was a national research project, closely related to my PhD thesis. It investigated the observed usage and potential application of information and communication technology for coordination between disaster relief organisations and self-organised volunteers.
RE-ACTA was a research project that started in 2013 with the goal of improving resilience in all stages of disaster management, utilising new media and mobile handheld devices. A workflow was devised for distributing tasks to volunteers via smartphone application and visualising their feedback to generate a situation report.
For my master's thesis I designed, implemented and evaluated a system to help with group management in the mobile context. Specifically, it was aimed at supervisory personnel in the education sector.
